Sick Love is the true story of Benedicto Figueroa; a single father struggling to overcome addiction and the torturous darkness of mental illness. He loves his daughter, he’s found the love of his life, but the battle to stay sober sends him spiraling into a depression that threatens to consume him.
Told through a series of poems and monologues the show illustrates the vulnerability and desperation we face when trying to overcome our vices. It’s the dark and emotionally raw journey of a man frantically fighting for his life and love, in war against his demons.
